Reliable leaker Billbil-kun over at Dealabs has dropped the Star Wars Zero Company release date ahead of Summer Game Fest — Bit Reactor and Respawn's XCOM-style tactics game is coming August 27, 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
According to the leak, the standard edition runs $49.99/€49.99 on PC and the deluxe edition hits $59.99/€59.99 on PC — both $10 cheaper than their console equivalents. The deluxe edition doesn't include early access. The game is directed by XCOM veteran Greg Foertsch and puts you in command of a scrappy outfit led by former Republic officer Hawks during the dying days of the Clone Wars. Permanent death is in — squad members who go down stay down.
Zero Company wears its XCOM DNA openly, which makes sense given Foertsch's history on XCOM 2. He spoke to Rock Paper Shotgun back in April about what that game taught him about keeping teams together and how it shapes the way he builds games now. The August 27 date lands right before what's shaping up to be a very crowded September release window.
Neither EA nor either studio has officially confirmed the date yet — Summer Game Fest is the obvious place for that announcement. Billbil-kun has a strong track record on these leaks, so the date is worth taking seriously.
