Privacy Policy

How Gaming.lt collects, uses and protects your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

This website is operated by Gaming.lt. For any privacy-related questions you can reach us at [email protected].

What data we collect

  • Newsletter email. If you subscribe to the daily digest, we store your email address. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
  • Affiliate clicks. When you click a partner link we record the click without cookies. Instead of your IP address we store only an anonymised hash (sha-256 with a daily-rotating salt) that cannot be reversed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (service analytics and fraud prevention).
  • Reactions cookie. To remember your emoji reactions we use a functional reactor_id cookie. See the Cookie Policy for details.
  • Technical logs. Our server automatically records technical entries (request time, errors) to maintain security and reliability.

Cookies

We only use necessary and functional cookies ourselves. Advertising and analytics cookies (Google AdSense for ads, Cloudflare Zaraz for analytics) are enabled only after you consent via the Cloudflare Zaraz consent banner (IAB TCF standard) shown to visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. You can change your choice at any time using “Consent settings” in the footer. See the full list in the Cookie Policy.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We rely on trusted service providers that process data on our behalf:

  • Laravel Cloud — website hosting (EU, Frankfurt).
  • Cloudflare — content delivery, image storage, audience analytics and consent management (Zaraz).
  • Affiliate networks (Impact.com, Awin) — attribution of partner clicks. See Partner links.
  • Google (AdSense) — advertising. With consent given via the Cloudflare Zaraz consent banner, Google may process data to personalize and measure ads. More at policies.google.com.

Data retention

Anonymised click data is automatically deleted after 90 days. We keep your newsletter email for as long as you remain subscribed; it is removed when you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI, vdai.lrv.lt).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post material changes on this page and update the date shown at the top.
