The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless PC Gaming Controller is down to $23.99 on Amazon right now — a 20% cut from its already-reasonable $29.99 list price. Only the lavender colorway is discounted, and the deal is timed ahead of Prime Day.
For under $25, you're getting a controller with Hall Effect sticks and triggers — no stick drift, no worn-out potentiometers — which is a feature you won't even find on the PlayStation DualSense Edge or Xbox Elite Series 2. The build feels solid with a grippy matte finish, metal-reinforced joystick rings, and no rattle. There are also extra R4/L4 back bumpers with custom mapping that requires no software, plus a Turbo button and rumble. Connectivity covers Bluetooth and a bundled 2.4GHz USB dongle running at a 1,000Hz polling rate. The controller works on Windows, Steam, and mobile, and it's a natural fit for handhelds like the Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go.
The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C sits in a crowded budget controller space, but Hall Effect sensors at this price point are genuinely rare. The main competition at a higher price is the Gamesir G7 Pro, which runs around $80 — the reviewer's other top pick for PC controllers.
If you've been on the fence about upgrading from a worn-out controller, $24 is a hard price to argue with. Just note the discount applies to lavender only — other colors remain at full price.
