Adventure Time: Side Quests Season 2 hits Disney+ and Hulu on October 2

Adventure Time: Side Quests is returning for a second season, and IGN has the exclusive trailer and poster. All episodes drop on Disney+ and Hulu on October 2, produced by Cartoon Network Studios.

The official synopsis puts Finn and Jake back in the land of Ooo, wrestling toads, squaring off against baby gladiators, and stumbling through one magic spell too many. The voice cast is stacked with returning talent: Sasha Knight as Finn, John DiMaggio as Jake, Tom Kenny as Ice King, Hynden Walch as Princess Bubblegum, Olivia Olson as Marceline, and Niki Yang as BMO. Behind the scenes, Nate Cash is back as Executive Producer and Showrunner, with Victor Courtright as Supervising Director and Niki Yang, Katie Aldworth, and Rose Feduk directing. Story Editor Darrick Bachman, Art Director Nick Cross, and Composer Matthew Janszen round out the creative team.

Adventure Time: Side Quests is a companion series to the original Adventure Time, the long-running Cartoon Network show that ran from 2010 to 2018 and built a massive following across kids and adults alike. The companion format lets the show dig into smaller, weirder stories that don't need to carry the weight of a main narrative — exactly the kind of low-stakes chaos the original was beloved for.

Two episodes from Season 2 already got an early debut at IGN Live this past June, so some fans have had a taste. The full season lands October 2 for everyone else.
