Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival launches October 8, 2026

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have locked in a release date for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival — the game hits PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam on October 8, 2026, right in time for Halloween.

Revival is a first-person survival horror game with an original story. Players control Aidan, a regular guy who picks up the Genesis Configuration puzzle box after a run-in with the Cenobites and must use it to rescue his girlfriend from the Labyrinth dimension. Combat mixes conventional firearms with supernatural abilities including pyrokinesis, telekinesis, and Hell Chains. Pinhead is front and center, with original actor Doug Bradley reprising the role. The Genesis Configuration also factors into puzzle-solving, so the gameplay loop goes beyond straight combat. Saber Interactive chief Tim Willits previously told IGN: "We are going to go as far as we possibly can, as far as the people that make rules will let us go" — and the game secured its ESRB rating without any cuts.

Two editions are available: Standard at $39.99 and Deluxe at $49.99. Pre-ordering either gets you the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin at launch. Two Collector's Editions are also listed on the official site, though their contents haven't been detailed yet. Regional pricing outside the US hasn't been announced. At that price point, Revival sits well below most major releases, which could work in its favor during a crowded Halloween window that already has GTA 6 arriving in November.

The game was announced roughly a year ago and has been described as sexually explicit, violent, and gory — a deliberate translation of the pain-and-pleasure tone of Clive Barker's original films and novella. The new trailer is the clearest look yet at how the game actually plays.
