Co-op cult survival game Join Us gets a March 2027 release date

Wolf Haus Games revealed a new gameplay trailer for Join Us at the Xbox Games Showcase and locked in a release date: March 2027. The game was first announced in September 2025 with a fall 2025 window, but that's now been pushed back.

Join Us is an open-world survival game for up to four players where you run a doomsday cult through the apocalypse. Every NPC you meet is a potential recruit — you win them over with propaganda and by making your cult look appealing. Followers come with strengths and weaknesses and can fill roles like farmer, doctor, or soldier, but keep them happy or they walk, and a cult with no followers isn't much of a cult. You can also pick your belief system — UFOs, cannibalism, and intermittent fasting are all legitimate options — and expand your territory, stockpile military-grade weapons, sacrifice members when necessary, and convert tractors into killing machines. There's also a gun that shoots live snakes, and yes, you can ride a pig.

The police, locals, and government all want your operation shut down, so expect resistance. The game supports solo play or full four-player co-op, though how the leadership hierarchy works with multiple players is apparently something you'll need to sort out among yourselves.
