Playground Games has confirmed a rollback for Forza Horizon 6 players who exploited a glitch to stack up to 999,999,999 credits. According to the official Forza Support FAQ, affected accounts will be capped at 10 million credits — and since the bug was on Playground's end, no bans or further penalties are coming.
The exploit involved putting a GMC Hummer EV into a specific glitched state and then queuing into The Eliminator matchmaking mode, which let players hit the credit cap in no time. Playground has temporarily disabled The Eliminator matchmaking while a proper fix is in development. The same update also addresses drag tyre abuse: tunes running drag tyres were performing unrealistically well outside of dedicated drag events, so Playground has adjusted them so they're no longer the optimal choice elsewhere. PI costs on existing tunes stay the same, but cornering performance takes a significant hit — and the team says leaderboard entries set with drag tyres before this patch will be removed on an ongoing basis.
The update also tackles a serious XP scaling problem in Horizon Play. Calculations suggested hitting level 100 — tied to the Maxed Out Achievement — could take around 1,000 hours of online play, which was never the intention. Playground has rebalanced the XP curve between levels 26 and 100, and any player who has already reached level 32 will jump straight to level 100 and unlock the Achievement automatically. A Roads Driven percentage tracker has also been added to region overviews, making it easier to hunt down the last few undiscovered roads on the map.
