Walmart's GeForce Week Sale is winding down, but the Gigabyte A16 Pro 16-inch gaming laptop with an RTX 5070 Ti is still available for $1,449 with free shipping — a solid price for this level of hardware.
The A16 Pro packs a 16-inch 2560x1600 165Hz IPS display, an Intel Core 7 240H (10-core, 5.2GHz boost), an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 12GB running at 115W TGP, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The chassis comes in at 0.77 inches thin and weighs 5 pounds, which is genuinely light for a 16-inch machine. The RAM is soldered and not upgradeable, but 32GB out of the box is plenty for gaming. The SSD slot is user-accessible if you need more storage down the line.
The RTX 5070 Ti mobile trades roughly 20–30% ahead of the RTX 5070 mobile, and Nvidia positions it as comparable to last gen's RTX 4080 mobile — pulling further ahead in titles that support DLSS 4.5 and multi-frame generation. The 115W TGP is a step below the GPU's 140W ceiling, a thermal trade-off Gigabyte made to keep the slim chassis cool. In practice, the card handles 1600p gaming comfortably across a wide range of titles.
The GeForce Week Sale is ending soon, so this price won't stick around long. If you're in the market for a thin-and-light 16-inch laptop that can genuinely push demanding games at the native resolution, this deal is worth a look before it disappears.
