IEM Cologne 2026 reaches its Grand Finals on Sunday, with FURIA and Team Falcons both making their first-ever Major Championship appearance. The opening ceremony kicks off at 16:45 CEST, followed by a best-of-five series.
FURIA clawed their way to the final after dropping the opening map of their Playoffs run — they bounced back to beat 9z Team 2-1 in the Quarterfinals, then swept Aurora Gaming 2-0 in the Semis. Team Falcons had an equally dramatic run: they knocked out world number one Team Vitality 2-1 in the Quarters, then edged Team Spirit 2-1 in the Semis, needing overtime on the deciding map to seal the deal.
Both organizations are chasing their first Major title, which makes this one of the more historically significant CS2 Grand Finals in recent memory — no matter who wins, it's a first-time champion.
Team and player stickers are still on sale through the end of the tournament, with 50% of proceeds split between the tournament organizer, teams, and players.
