Walmart is currently selling the MSI Vector HX 16-inch gaming laptop with an RTX 5070 Ti for $1,399 — that's $350 off and the lowest price seen on this configuration so far in 2025. Free shipping is included, and the deal is listed as limited time.
The laptop packs an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX — a 20-core chip with a 5.2GHz max turbo — alongside an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB of VRAM running at 140W TGP. The display is a 16-inch 1920x1200 IPS panel at 144Hz. Base config ships with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD, but both are user-upgradeable. The whole thing weighs around six pounds and comes with a one-year warranty.
The RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU sits roughly 20–30% above the RTX 5070 in performance, and trades blows with — or edges past — the last-gen RTX 4080 mobile, especially in titles that support DLSS 4.5 and multi-frame generation. Notebookcheck's Forza Horizon 6 benchmarks show an RTX 5070 Ti laptop hitting 60fps at 1080p, which gives a solid real-world reference point for what to expect at FHD+ resolution.
Amazon Prime Day is coming in October, but deals this specific — RTX 5070 Ti at $1,399 — are unlikely to be beaten by the usual Prime Day laptop discounts, which tend to favor older GPU generations. If you're in the market for a high-end gaming laptop now, this is a hard price to wait out.
