THQ Nordic Showcase 2026: Reanimal DLC drops now, Way of the Hunter 2 dated for September

THQ Nordic held its 2026 Digital Showcase today, dropping a wave of announcements across multiple games. The biggest immediate news: the first DLC for Reanimal — The Prisoner — is available right now on PS5 and Xbox.

Reanimal: The Prisoner adds two new playable characters, The Soldier and The Prisoner, who navigate war-ravaged environments and previously unseen areas of the Reanimal world. The Digital Deluxe Edition and the Foxhead and Muttonhead Masks are 25% off as part of the launch. Way of the Hunter 2 opened pre-orders today, landing on September 29 with promises of higher realism, more complex animal AI, and expanded hunting ground management. Existing Way of the Hunter owners get a 10% pre-order discount. Wreckfest 2 got a new gameplay trailer showing off its destruction physics, built by the team behind the original FlatOut. Titan Quest 2 was also shown — an action RPG set in Greek mythology where players fight alongside gods against Nemesis, the corrupted Goddess of Retribution. Gothic II Complete Classic was announced for consoles, bundling Gothic II and the Night of the Raven expansion for the first time on console. The Eternal Life of Goldman, a 2D story-platformer, also got a new gameplay trailer.

The THQ Nordic Showcase Sale runs August 4–10 and covers the full THQN catalog with discounts up to 90%. Highlights include Way of the Hunter Ultimate Edition at 70% off, Wreckfest Complete Edition at 70% off, the original Titan Quest at 85% off, Titan Quest: Atlantis and Ragnarök at 75% off, and Gothic Remake at 20% off.

THQ Nordic has been running these annual digital showcases for several years now as a way to consolidate announcements across its broad publishing portfolio, which spans everything from hunting sims to action RPGs to demolition racers. With Way of the Hunter 2 just under two months out and Reanimal's DLC already live, the studio is heading into a busy autumn release window.
