2026 Pokémon World Championships TCG promo cards and Welcome Kit revealed

During the closing ceremonies of the Pokémon North America International Championships, three TCG promo cards for the 2026 Pokémon World Championships and PokémonXP in San Francisco were revealed, alongside the competitors' Welcome Kit and the Champion's line.

The 2026 Paradise Resort promo card goes into the World Championships competitors' welcome kits — it carries a gold 2026 stamp and features Pikachu, Sylveon, Archaludon, and Klawf in the background, continuing a tradition that started at Worlds 2022. The 2026 Worlds Pikachu promo card will be available at Worlds Celebration Tournaments held at Play! Pokémon Store events from August 21 to August 30; its Japanese version was already shown at Japan Championships earlier this month. The card shows Gardevoir and a city skyline with a bridge that's a clear nod to San Francisco's Golden Gate. Top finishers get a variant with a gold Winner stamp plus a microfiber cloth, deck box, and card sleeves. The 2026 PokémonXP Rayquaza promo card goes to all badged attendees of both the World Championships and PokémonXP, marked with a PXP stamp.

The Champion's line — exclusive to 2026 World Champions — features two themed Pikachu designs: a male Pikachu dressed in king's garb and a female Pikachu in a space suit with Cosmog motifs. Pokémon also announced a wave of exhibitors coming to PokémonXP, including LEGO, Crocs, Funko, Stern Pinball, Build-A-Bear, Jazwares, Bandai, and Sideshow, among others.

Separately, the closing ceremonies confirmed that the Pokémon North America International Championships is moving to Chicago in 2027.
