Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 gets an exclusive Aston Martin SUV that looks like a roofed Warthog

Activision and Aston Martin have teamed up to build a vehicle made exclusively for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4. The Aston Martin Dreadnought — a high-performance military SUV — was designed from the ground up for the game and will be available in both DMZ and Warzone modes at launch.

Aston Martin describes the Dreadnought as an "uncompromising and deliberately extreme creation" carrying the brand's "high-performance, luxury DNA." The name pulls from HMS Dreadnought, the famous British warship. Visually, it draws obvious comparisons to Halo's Warthog, just with a roof over the cab. Infinity Ward boss Jack O'Hara called the collaboration an "incredible journey" and said the Dreadnought is the "most aggressive all-wheel drive" vehicle in MW4. Aston Martin also built a full-size physical model of the car, which is on display at Fanatics Fest this weekend in New York City — the same event where MW4 multiplayer is playable for the first time.

Aston Martin has a history of high-profile brand crossovers, but a purpose-built in-game vehicle is a notable step up from the usual cosmetic tie-ins that flood live-service shooters. For MW4, it signals Activision is leaning into prestige partnerships ahead of launch rather than saving them for post-launch battle pass filler.

Anyone who can't make it to New York won't have to wait long — a free public multiplayer beta is coming later so players can try the game from home. Modern Warfare 4 launches October 23 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.
