LEGO Star Wars Home One Starcruiser hits all-time low price before retiring

The LEGO Star Wars Home One Starcruiser is down to $46.74 on Amazon — a 33% cut from its regular $69.99 price and the lowest it has ever been. The catch: this set is retiring at the end of July, it's already sold out at the LEGO Store, and Amazon stock won't last forever.

The 559-piece set recreates Admiral Ackbar's flagship from the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi. It runs over a foot long and 5.5 inches tall with the display stand attached, and it comes with a brick-built Nebulon-B Medical Frigate to give the scale some context. It's not a complex or intricate build — nothing like the newer Smart Play sets with electronic bricks for lighting and sound — but it's a solid display piece for any Star Wars or LEGO shelf.

The Home One Starcruiser is notable as the first LEGO brick recreation of the ship, which has been a fan-favourite vessel since Return of the Jedi hit cinemas in 1983.
