Love and Deepspace fans are fighting for cancelled werewolf Valko with billboards, meetups, and custom sex toys

Valko — the werewolf love interest that Infold Games cancelled for Love and Deepspace after a wave of fan backlash — is still very much alive in the hearts of his supporters. Weeks after his cancellation, the fandom is escalating its campaign to bring him back, and the methods are getting increasingly creative.

The most eyebrow-raising development comes from XenoCat Artifacts, a US-based adult toy manufacturer. The company is producing an exclusive colorway of their Wild Hearts toy in Valko's honor, complete with anatomical features familiar to werewolf fiction fans and coloring designed to match Valko's skin and hair. Erebos, XenoCat's lead artist and CEO, told Kotaku that she and her colleagues were Love and Deepspace fans who had been genuinely excited for Valko's arrival. "When we saw Valko, we knew we wanted to make his debut something special and to offer a new exclusive reimagined color to our lineup to compliment his character," she wrote. Erebos added that the cancellation hit hard enough that she's taking a break from the game — which, she noted, has freed up time to keep pace with demand for the toy. "We don't want to be another promise broken to the player base."

Beyond the adult toy corner of the fandom, the broader #BringBackValko and #ValkoIsLoved campaigns are still running at full speed. Fans have purchased billboards in Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong. A New York-based fan group held a Times Square meetup last week featuring a Valko cosplayer and billboard trucks looping videos with the campaign's rallying cry. Valko was set to be Love and Deepspace's sixth love interest before Infold pulled the plug following intense backlash from existing fans of the game's roster — a controversy that reportedly included fans mailing cow manure to the developer. Petitions demanding his return have since gathered over 300,000 signatures.

Infold Games has not announced any reversal on the cancellation, but the sustained global pressure — billboards, petitions, Times Square trucks, and now custom merchandise — makes it one of the more remarkable fan campaigns in recent gacha history. Whether it moves the needle with the developer remains to be seen.
