Moss: The Forgotten Relic bundles both games for Switch 1 and 2 this summer

Polyarc has opened pre-orders for Moss: The Forgotten Relic — a bundle of Moss and Moss: Book II — coming to both Switch 1 and Switch 2 this month. The package is priced at £15.99 / $19.99, and anyone who buys the Switch 1 version gets a free upgrade to the Switch 2 edition.

Both games were originally PSVR exclusives, meaning players without a headset never got a shot at them. Polyarc confirmed earlier this year that the Switch ports were in the works, and the studio has been clear that the goal was never a straight one-to-one VR conversion — the team redesigned the experience for flat-screen play rather than just stripping out the headset requirement.

Moss is a third-person puzzle-adventure where you guide a small mouse named Quill through hand-crafted environments, with the VR version leaning heavily on the sense of presence the headset provided. Translating that to a traditional screen without losing what made the games special was the core challenge Polyarc set for itself.

Pre-orders are live now on both platforms, with the release still slated for this summer. The free cross-gen upgrade is a welcome move for anyone sitting on the fence about which version to grab first.
