Nintendo used today's Nintendo Direct to unveil DK Challenge, a limited-time event for Switch Online subscribers on Switch 2. It pulls tasks from across the Donkey Kong catalogue, from Donkey Kong Country all the way up to the new Switch 2 exclusive Donkey Kong Bananza.
DK Challenge lives inside the Nintendo Switch Online app on the Switch 2 home screen. Tasks vary by game — there's a mine-cart challenge from Donkey Kong Country, for instance — and completing them earns you challenge cards. Easier tasks are available to ease players into older entries like Donkey Kong 3, but Nintendo also confirmed harder Developer Challenges for those who want a stiffer test.
One catch: the Donkey Kong Bananza challenges require you to actually own the game, so full participation is locked to Switch 2 owners who've picked up that exclusive.
