Overwatch Season 3, subtitled Into the Tiger's Den, goes live on Tuesday, June 16 at 2 p.m. EDT — that's 7 p.m. BST for UK players and 8 p.m. CEST for western Europe.
The headline addition is Shion, Overwatch's 52nd hero and the seventh released this year. She's a Damage-class character — a Hashimoto crime boss who fights with dual pistols and rides a motorcycle into battle. Yes, she can throw the bike at enemies. According to a Polygon interview with the Overwatch team, her design draws inspiration from franchises like John Wick and Kill Bill. The new season also brings the standard package: a fresh battle pass, new cosmetics, and general balance tweaks.
Blizzard committed to adding a new hero every season following Overwatch's rebrand from Overwatch 2, and Shion keeps that streak alive heading into season three.
