RTX Spark laptops confirmed for fall — Acer and Gigabyte joining after launch wave

Nvidia has confirmed the first wave of RTX Spark laptops hitting shelves this fall, with Acer and Gigabyte confirmed to follow the initial batch. The announcement came at SIGGRAPH 2026.

The first six brands to launch RTX Spark systems are Asus, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI. Acer and Gigabyte will come to market after that initial wave. Given that the Surface Laptop Ultra was the machine most prominently used to demo RTX Spark at Computex, it would be surprising if Microsoft's device isn't first out the door. On the Taiwanese side, MSI and Asus will be the first local brands to ship Spark hardware, as noted by the Commercial Times.

RTX Spark is Nvidia's first consumer chip combining CPU and GPU on an Arm-based architecture, targeting both AI workloads and gaming. One of the more eye-catching designs already spotted is the MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+, a notably thin machine. Nvidia has claimed that form factor can still push 100 fps at 1440p — a bold number, though real-world results will depend heavily on TDP limits and cooling solutions. Hands-on impressions from testing have been cautiously optimistic.

Also announced at SIGGRAPH 2026 was a closer look at DLSS 5, which currently ships with two sliders for AI filter control, with more developer-facing options in the works. Both RTX Spark laptops and DLSS 5 are targeting a fall 2026 launch, making the end of the year a potentially significant moment for PC gaming — affordability concerns in the current market notwithstanding.
