Xbox Free Play Days: For Honor, Bleach Rebirth of Souls, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection, and More

Xbox has kicked off another Free Play Days weekend with five games available across different membership tiers, running from Thursday, July 23 through early August depending on the title.

Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members get access to Tides of Tomorrow — the post-apocalyptic multiplayer narrative adventure from the Road 96 studio — and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Version, which bundles the classic Solid Snake stealth games. Tides of Tomorrow runs through Sunday, July 26, while Metal Gear Solid gets one extra day until Monday, July 27. Both are discounted if you want to keep them: Tides of Tomorrow drops to $22.49 from $29.99, and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Version is cut to $9.99 from $19.99. No Game Pass subscription needed for the other three titles — Bleach Rebirth of Souls and Killing Floor 3 are free for all Xbox members through July 26, and For Honor gets an extended window all the way until Tuesday, August 4. Any Gamerscore and achievements earned during the free period carry over if you buy.

Free Play Days is Xbox's recurring promotion that lets members try full games for a limited window, often paired with purchase discounts to convert players who get hooked. Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Version collects the original MGS trilogy and is a solid entry point for anyone who missed Konami's stealth classics the first time around. For Honor — Ubisoft's medieval melee brawler built around its Guard Break system and faction warfare — has been running since 2017 and still maintains an active player base, making the extended free window a smart move to pull in new fighters.
