Arc System Works EVO Collection Humble Bundle includes Guilty Gear Strive and supports rare disease research

Humble Bundle just launched the Arc System Works EVO Collection bundle, running until July 17. For as little as $5 you get 10 items, $10 unlocks 13, and $20 gets you the full 16-item collection — games and DLC coupons combined, with a stated retail value of $340. Proceeds go to the Raiden Science Foundation and its Fight4Rare initiative.

The $5 tier includes Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, Guilty Gear, Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, Kill la Kill - IF, Chaos Code -New Sign of Catastrophe-, and discount coupons for all five Guilty Gear -Strive- Season Passes. Paying $10 adds BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 Deluxe Edition, and Arcana Heart 3 LOVEMAX SIXSTARS!!!!!! XTEND. The $20 tier rounds out the full 16-item collection.

The charity angle here is personal. The Raiden Science Foundation was founded in November 2021 by Tommy Pham and his wife Linda, named after their son Raiden — yes, after the Mortal Kombat character. Raiden was diagnosed with UBA5 Disorder, an ultra-rare genetic condition affecting fewer than 100 known children worldwide, which leaves him unable to sit, walk, talk, or use his limbs. RSF has since partnered with UMass Chan Medical School and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and is now working to raise $3 million to manufacture a treatment following FDA feedback and move it into clinical trials. Fight4Rare, the gaming-focused fundraising arm originally called Kombat4Rare, grew out of that mission to pull the gaming community into the fight.

For Pham, Guilty Gear -Strive- carries extra weight — it launched just months before Raiden's diagnosis and helped him through that period. The game's character Ky Kiske, a lightning-wielding symbol of hope, is a connection Pham finds meaningful. The bundle is live now at Humble Bundle's site through July 17.
