EA Sports College Football 27 launches with EA Play early access trial on July 2

EA Sports College Football 27 is available now through EA Play's 10-hour early access trial, letting members jump into the game ahead of its full release. Progress made during the trial carries over if you buy the full game, and EA Play members also get a Welcome Pack and a monthly College Football Ultimate Team Pack.

College Football 27 brings three headlining new features. Mascot Mashup is a full 11-on-11 mode where you play as one of over 120 mascots, complete with over-the-top celebrations and school-spirit chaos. Dynasty Blueprint overhauls the franchise mode — you now manage Athletic Director Expectations and spend Dynasty Points across recruiting, NIL deals, staff, and facilities. Road to Glory gets deeper player customization, new position options, NIL deals, Heisman chasing, Draft Stock tracking, and a Legacy Score system that reacts to your in-game decisions.

EA Play members on Xbox Cloud Gaming, PC Game Pass, or Ultimate can access the trial directly. The subscription also knocks 10% off EA digital purchases, including the full game and College Football Points.

Beyond College Football 27, EA Play is stacking July rewards across its lineup: Battlefield 6 gets a Season 3 EA Play Pack available until July 20, Apex Legends drops a Gold Vacation Punch Weapon Charm from July 7 through August 3, EA Sports FC 26 joins The Play List with a Clubs Wildstyle cosmetic from July 9, Madden NFL 26 has a July MUT Pack through July 31, NHL 26 offers WOC Season Pass XP Multiplier Tokens and Chel Coins until August 27, and UFC 6 includes a Welcome Pack with cosmetic items.
