Free Play Days: MLB The Show 26, The Alters, and Stuffed free on Xbox this weekend

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members get three free games this weekend — MLB The Show 26, The Alters, and Stuffed are all playable at no extra cost from Thursday, July 9 through Sunday, July 12.

MLB The Show 26, priced at $69.99 but discounted to $34.99 if you decide to buy, brings updated Road To The Show mechanics, deeper Franchise mode, and enhanced customization. The Alters — 11 bit studios' survival game where you clone alternate versions of yourself on a hostile planet — drops to $17.49 from its usual $34.99 and is available on both console and PC via Xbox Play Anywhere. Stuffed, a spooky teddy bear first-person shooter with up to four-player co-op, rounds out the lineup at $12.49 with no listed discount. All three are optimized for Xbox Series X|S. The Alters launched earlier this year from 11 bit studios — the Warsaw-based team behind Frostpunk and This War of Mine — and earned strong reviews for blending base-building survival with branching narrative and character psychology. MLB The Show 26 is the latest entry in Sony San Diego's long-running baseball sim, which has been available on Xbox via Game Pass since 2021. Free Play Days is Xbox's recurring weekend trial program that lets Game Pass subscribers sample games they don't own, with the option to buy at a discount and carry over all earned achievements.
