Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted adds Jin Sakai as a playable character

Sucker Punch revealed at State of Play that Jin Sakai — the hero of Ghost of Tsushima — is coming to Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted as one of four playable characters. He arrives with all four of his signature stances intact.

Most Wanted is a roguelike combat survival mode included in Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition. You pick a bounty from a board, each targeting a different member of the Yōtei Six, then fight through waves of enemies and minibosses, unlocking perks along the way to build toward a final boss encounter. Difficulty scales with each replay, and the hardest bounty pits you against Lord Saito himself. Between runs, you spend earned Mon on new techniques, weapon upgrades, charms, and character unlocks. Cosmetics earned in Most Wanted carry over to the main game and to the story expansion, Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara.

Each of the four characters starts with a katana plus their own unique weapons, abilities, Ultimates, and Kill Streaks. Default character Atsu wields dual katana and two Ghost Tools — Metsubushi (Blinding Powder) and a Blind Bomb — with her Ultimate, Call of the Pack, summoning two wolves to tear through nearby enemies, and her Kill Streak, Onryō's Howl, terrifying and routing enemies. Oyuki fights with the kusarigama, kunai, and tanegashima rifle; her Ultimate, Shadow Killer, drops smoke to let her assassinate two enemies in quick succession, and her Kill Streak is Shadow Shinobi. Jin rounds out the roster with his four stances, though his specific Ultimate and Kill Streak weren't detailed in the announcement. The mode is designed to feel like a natural extension of Ghost of Yōtei's core combat, letting players experiment with builds and loadouts rather than introducing entirely foreign systems.

The reveal came as part of a State of Play broadcast, building on last month's initial Most Wanted announcement. No release date for Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition was given in the announcement.
