inZOI hotfix v0.9.5 fixes toddler pickup bug, repetitive morning routines, and fire reactions

Krafton pushed hotfix v0.9.5 for inZOI on July 15, 2026, targeting a handful of gameplay bugs that have been tripping up players since the last update. The Windows Steam build lands at version 20260715.13878.W, with the Mac Steam version at 20260714.13865.M.

On the gameplay side, Zois can now properly pick up toddlers after bathing them — an intermittent issue that had been blocking that interaction entirely. A separate bug causing certain Zois to loop through tooth-brushing, bathing, and other morning actions on weekdays is also fixed. Hunger satisfaction through autonomy gets a partial fix, meaning Zois should feed themselves more reliably without player intervention, though the team notes the issue isn't fully resolved yet. Fire reactions are back in — Zois were previously ignoring intermittent fires entirely. Conversation flow also gets a small improvement, letting Zois naturally drop out of group conversations when the situation calls for it, and cooperative interaction wait times have been partially reduced. On the stability front, the patch addresses some crash-related issues and fixes a CurseForge browser bug that could cause the mod browser to hang or crash on load.

inZOI launched into Early Access in March 2025 as a life simulation game developed by Krafton, the South Korean studio behind PUBG. It drew immediate attention for its Unreal Engine 5 visuals and deep character customisation, but Early Access has been a steady stream of stability and AI behaviour patches as the team irons out the simulation's rougher edges. Autonomous behaviour bugs — Zois failing to eat, getting stuck in loops, ignoring environmental hazards — have been a recurring theme in community feedback.

The team reminds players that all mods are automatically disabled when any patch is applied and need to be manually reactivated afterwards — worth keeping in mind if your CurseForge setup goes quiet after this update. Known issues are tracked on the official forum, and the inZOI team says stability work is ongoing.
