LEGO's Longest Set Ever Is a 6,130-Piece Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer

LEGO has revealed the Executor Super Star Destroyer, a new Ultimate Collector Series set that will officially become the longest LEGO model ever produced. At 136 cm (53.5 inches) from bow to stern, it edges out every previous set in terms of sheer length — and it lands on shelves October 4, with LEGO Insiders getting early access from October 1.

The set clocks in at 6,130 pieces and carries a price tag of $799.99 / £649.99. Its full dimensions are 20 cm tall, 136 cm long, and 50 cm wide, with a finished weight of just over 5 kg. Alongside the main build, there's a mini recreation of the ship's command bridge. The minifigure lineup is a bounty hunter roll call straight out of The Empire Strikes Back: Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss all make the cut. LEGO Insiders also get a Gift With Purchase — a buildable Darth Vader Lightsaber — while stocks last.

The Executor is Darth Vader's personal flagship in the original Star Wars trilogy, appearing at both the Battle of Hoth and the Battle of Endor. In the films, it's the setting for Vader's iconic bounty hunter briefing scene — which explains the minifigure selection. In Star Wars canon, the real Executor stretched over 19 km, roughly the length of Manhattan, and required a crew in the hundreds of thousands. It met its end at Endor when a Rebel pilot crashed into its bridge, sending it spiraling into the second Death Star. The Ultimate Collector Series has a long history of tackling iconic Star Wars capital ships at display scale, and this one is clearly designed to dominate a shelf — or an entire room.
