Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has gone public with her love of Grand Theft Auto, revealing on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast that GTA is her all-time favorite game series — and that she absolutely cannot wait for GTA 6.

The catch: Brown plays nothing like the average GTA player. She stops at red lights, never runs anyone over, and refuses to get drunk at the strip club. Her husband apparently finds this baffling, asking why she's playing it like The Sims. Brown's own justification is that her character is just commuting to work — even when that work occasionally involves killing people. "I'm not a hitman, I'm a vigilante," she said, drawing her personal moral line in the sand.

GTA 6 is deep into its marketing push now, with Rockstar targeting a November launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The rollout hasn't been entirely smooth — fans have pushed back on the decision to sell physical copies with a download code instead of an actual disc, a move that looks slightly less baffling after Sony confirmed it will eventually phase out PS5 disc games. There are also ongoing labor tensions, with more Rockstar employees moving to unionize, and the confirmed absence of 60fps on current-gen consoles.

Brown said this was the first time she'd spoken publicly about her GTA passion, and the clip has predictably taken off online. Whether Rockstar's law-abiding new fan will stick to the speed limit in GTA 6 remains to be seen.
