Mina the Hollower has no manual save button — the game relies entirely on autosaves, but you can trigger one yourself to avoid losing progress.
An autosave fires every time Mina moves into a new room or screen: walking through a door, burrowing through a tunnel, entering the Underlab, or even just crossing an Underlab entrance without going inside all count. A small save icon briefly appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen to confirm the save went through. The catch is that quest progress doesn't seem to save until you've fully completed the task and left the room. Polygon's guide writer found that quitting while carrying the lil' frog to its band — without finishing the quest and entering a new screen — reset the quest entirely on reload, frog gone. Even dropping off the frog and talking to the band wasn't enough if you exited before stepping into a new room.
