Obsession star Inde Navarrette has been offered video game roles and wants to start small

Inde Navarrette, who broke out this year in the horror film Obsession, has confirmed she's been approached by game studios about acting roles — and she's ready to take the leap. Speaking to Variety, she said she plans to start with something smaller to test the waters before taking on bigger projects.

Navarrette didn't name any studios or specific titles, but made clear where her heart is: she told Variety she would "die inside" if she ever got to appear in a Resident Evil game. She's also a longtime Call of Duty fan — Activision already tapped her to appear on a Modern Warfare 4 panel in July, and she previously hosted Twitch streams for the franchise. On the nostalgia front, she called out Shrek Super Party on PS2 as one of her favorite childhood games, specifically praising the characters' oversized heads. As for her gaming credentials off-screen, she built her own PC using Henry Cavill videos as a guide, which is honestly a solid tutorial choice.

Navarrette is one of the bigger breakout stars of 2025. Obsession — directed by Curry Barker and made on a reported $750,000 budget — has grossed over $470 million worldwide, a staggering return that's put her firmly on Hollywood's radar. Before that, she was best known for Netflix's 13 Reasons Why. The crossover between film actors and game voice work has been growing steadily, with major franchises increasingly casting recognizable faces to draw broader audiences.
