Onimusha: Way of the Sword is heading to Nintendo Switch 2, with a release date set for September 25th. Pre-orders are open now, and the announcement came during today's Nintendo Direct.
Footage shown during the reveal suggests the game runs well on the handheld. One thing Switch 2 players won't get, at least for now, is a demo — PlayStation users got one during a recent Sony State of Play, but no equivalent was mentioned for Nintendo's platform.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a big-budget action game and a long-awaited revival of the classic Capcom series. The Switch 2 version joins the previously confirmed PS5 release.
