Sony is holding a new State of Play on June 2, promising over an hour of updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals from first- and third-party studios around the world. The show starts at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM BST and streams live on Sony's YouTube and Twitch channels.
The only confirmed opener is Marvel's Wolverine — Sony is staying tight-lipped on everything else. Arc System Works' Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a strong bet given its August 6 release date, and Horizon: Hunters Gathering seems likely to show up too. Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet could make an appearance, and Haven Studios' FairGame$ is rumored to have been rebranded, which would make a re-reveal a natural fit. Sony Santa Monica Studio has been quiet since God of War Ragnarok, so this could finally be the moment that rumored spin-off gets unveiled.
On the third-party side, Persona 6 and a Rayman Origins remaster are both said to be in development and could surface here. The biggest wildcard is GTA 6 — Rockstar has a marketing deal with Sony, the game hasn't been seen since its second trailer, and a November release is closing in fast. A new look at GTA 6 to close the show would be a massive moment.
The State of Play lands in the middle of the broader Not-E3 summer showcase season, with several other major publishers also running their own events this week.
