WoW Classic player hits level 60 on every hardcore self-found class — then does a naked fire mage run

Reddit user Foxdog175 has hit level 60 on all 11 classes in World of Warcraft Classic's hardcore self-found mode — no deaths, no trading, no auction house, no outside help. Every piece of gear had to be found or crafted solo. Then, apparently deciding that wasn't enough, they also completed a naked fire mage run on top of it.

Foxdog is refreshingly honest about how close things got: "If I'm being brutally honest, only three of my toons should have made it to 60. I've had razor-close calls on just about every class to 60." The near-misses read like a highlight reel of WoW Classic chaos — a Warlock nearly drowned in Stranglethorn Vale waters at health so low the bar wasn't even visible, a Rogue barely survived a disconnect in Tanaris, and a Paladin was saved from a pack of elites only by an aggro reset bug. The best story involves a Hunter in Searing Gorge who jumped down a cave hole before Foxdog could even say "GO" — Foxdog leapt in after him, got the Blessing of Protection off mid-air, and bubbled themselves milliseconds before hitting the ground.

The naked fire mage run added a whole new layer of near-death experiences. Close calls included AOEing furbolgs in Ashenvale alongside another mage, getting netted and beaten underwater in Southern Arathi while collecting crystals for boat quests (saved only by a nearby group member), getting jumped by an elite rock giant after using an NPC teleport in Azshara, and barely escaping a furbolg pile-on in Northern Felwood after the warrior they were helping simply bailed. Foxdog's own summary: "Naked fire mage was a damn cat with nine lives." Part of the strategy behind all 11 class runs was a deliberate early-game approach — starting each character by walking to a second starter zone before the main leveling push, stacking small hit, crit, and dodge advantages from being above mob level that compound across the entire run.

The post blew up on r/classicwow and was picked up by WoWHead, with the community predictably equal parts impressed and horrified. There's no word on what Foxdog plans next, but at this point the bar is set so high it's hard to imagine where you go from here.
