Apex Legends fixes error code:truck on consoles and resolves connection issues

Respawn has cleared two separate technical problems that hit Apex Legends players over the last week. The error code:truck, which had already been fixed on Steam and the EA App, is now resolved on all consoles as well. A connection issue that was blocking players from getting into the game has also been patched out.

Both fixes were confirmed via the game's official Steam announcements on July 1–2, 2026. No details were given on what caused either issue, but Respawn thanked players for their patience during the outage.

On top of the fixes, Respawn put out a Steam survey on July 2 asking players for feedback on how the team supports and engages the community through Steam Discussions. No specifics about what changes might follow were shared.
