Arc Raiders duplication exploits hit all-time low as Embark's crackdown takes hold

Embark has confirmed its ongoing fight against duplication exploits in Arc Raiders is paying off — the percentage of players flagged for "unusually high profit per minute" has dropped below 1% for the first time in months. The studio shared the news alongside a graph in its latest patch notes, giving players a rare look at the actual scale of the problem.

Embark says it treats exploit-hunting the same way it treats anti-cheat: a continuous, behind-the-scenes process. "We always want to make sure fixes are widely effective, so we make sure to monitor and evaluate our success before sharing that progress with you," the studio writes in the patch notes. The graph shows things got noticeably worse around early June, which may line up with the 1.33.0 update that trialled a ban on free loadouts — a change that likely pushed some players toward duplication as an alternative money-making route. Since that spike, the numbers have steadily fallen. On the anti-cheat side, Embark also completed its full rollout of Denuvo Anti-Cheat, which is now enforced for all players. The studio says early results have been "promising" and that its team is "continuously getting more effective at identifying and acting against cheaters."

Arc Raiders launched into early access in May 2025 and quickly built a reputation for creative exploit abuse — players found ways to duplicate rubber ducks by the millions and construct entire structures out of cloned ziplines. Duplication exploits in extraction shooters are a persistent headache because they directly undermine the economy that gives the genre its tension: if loot is infinite, the risk-reward loop collapses. Embark has consistently listed cheating and exploits as a top priority, and the decision to publish actual metrics rather than just vague reassurances is a notably transparent move for a live-service studio.

The community will likely welcome the data, though the real test is whether the sub-1% figure holds as players inevitably probe for new methods. With Denuvo now fully live and the economy monitoring clearly active, Embark looks better positioned than it has been to stay ahead of the curve.
