Arc Raiders expedition 4 rewards premium currency and blueprints instead of skill points

Embark is overhauling Arc Raiders' fourth expedition rewards, swapping out permanent skill points for a mix of Raider Tokens and blueprints that survive the wipe. The window opens July 7 at 1pm CEST and closes July 21 at 10am CEST.

Each of the five departure objectives now pays out 150 Raider Tokens and one random blueprint on completion. Finish all five and you walk away with 750 Raider Tokens — roughly $7 worth of premium currency, or about half the price of a standard store bundle — plus five blueprints pulled from a pool of 25 items. That pool includes weapon blueprints like the Venator, Osprey, Trailblazer, Anvil, Hullcracker, Tempest, Vulcano, Dolabra, and Aphelion, plus attachment blueprints and Combat, Tactical, and Looting Augment Mk 3 options. This stacks with the existing expedition vault system: players can buy up to five vault slots from Ermal to carry additional items through a wipe, meaning a fully engaged player can enter the next season with up to 10 blueprints already in hand.

Arc Raiders launched into early access in May 2025, and Embark has been visibly iterating on the expedition wipe mechanic ever since — this is already the third format change across four seasons. The shift away from skill points reflects a straightforward reality: players value gear progression over minor stat advantages over other Raiders.

The catch is that expeditions must be completed in order and can only be done once per season, so anyone who hasn't been keeping up is increasingly locked out of the rewards. Embark acknowledged the problem directly in the blog post, writing that they need to find the right balance between rewarding veteran players and giving new players fair ways to catch up. Bigger structural changes to expeditions are apparently in the works, though no specifics were given.
