Arknights: Endfield 1.3 release times and what's new in the update

Arknights: Endfield 1.3 goes live on Friday, June 5 at 4:00 AM UTC. Before that, the game goes into a six-hour maintenance window starting Thursday, June 4 at 6 p.m. EDT — so west coast North America gets maintenance from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. PDT, the UK from 11 p.m. BST to 5 a.m. BST, and western Europe from midnight to 6 a.m. CEST.

The update adds two new six-star characters: Mi Fu, a Physical Guard, and Camille, a Heat Vanguard. Mi Fu's banner goes live immediately when the patch drops; Camille's banner rotates in on June 26. There's also a new explorable area called Sword Vault Dale tied to a side mission, plus narrative quests for both new operators. The headline endgame addition is Contingency Contract — a mode that stress-tests your team-building, and yes, veterans of the original Arknights will recognize the name immediately.

Quality-of-life improvements round out the patch: artificing gear is faster, and claiming daily activity points is less of a chore. Players will need to manually update the game after maintenance ends before they can access any 1.3 content.
