Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Update 1.04 Fixes Ship Disappearing Bug and More

Ubisoft is rolling out update 1.04 for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, and it tackles one of the more absurd bugs in the game — your ship vanishing entirely after you browse upgrades at a harbourmaster.

The core fix addresses a bug where visiting a port to shop for ship upgrades would trigger an unexpected "mutiny," causing the player's ship to disappear. Ubisoft has also made changes to force sunnier skies in certain conditions, among other fixes included in the patch notes.

Black Flag Resynced is a remaster of the beloved 2013 open-world pirate adventure, originally developed by Ubisoft Montreal. The game puts players in the boots of Edward Kenway, a pirate-turned-Assassin sailing the Caribbean, and the naval combat and ship customization systems are central to the experience — making a bug that deletes your vessel mid-shopping trip a pretty significant problem.
