Baldur's Gate 3 mod turns Mizora into a fully recruitable companion

Modder WorldWalker42 has released Mizora Joins the Party for Baldur's Gate 3, turning the scheming cambion — previously just a thorn in Wyll's side — into a proper recruitable companion during the game's third act. The mod is available now on Nexus Mods.

Once you hit the relevant point in Wyll's act three questline, you can bring Mizora into your active party. She gets her own camp spot across the Rivington, Lower City alley, and Elfsong locations, and reacts to story events and locations with her own lines — all built from repurposed dialogue assets already in the game. WorldWalker42 is explicit that no AI was used at any stage: everything was built with the official toolkit or a text editor. Mizora also comes with a spell that lets her shift into a human form Larian left unused in the game's files, and she'll appear in the epilogue with a letter reflecting on your playthrough's choices. The mod works if you're playing as Wyll and shouldn't conflict with other Wyll-focused mods, as long as those don't touch certain critical dialogue files.

WorldWalker42 isn't new to this kind of work — last month they did something similar with Dame Aylin and Isobel, also on Nexus Mods. It's part of a broader trend in the BG3 modding scene where creators are using Larian's official toolkit to expand companion arcs and add recruitable characters without leaning on AI voice generation. Magnetuning's overhaul of Wyll's questline, which gave him more agency over his pact with Mizora, is another recent example of the same spirit.

The mod was commissioned by a Reddit user in the r/BG3mods community, and the response there has been enthusiastic. With Mizora now joinable and Dame Aylin and Isobel already getting the same treatment, it's clear BG3's modding community has no shortage of ambition when it comes to fleshing out the game's supporting cast.
