Dispatch is getting a physical edition and vinyl soundtrack ahead of its first anniversary

AdHoc Studio is marking Dispatch's first anniversary with a proper physical release — the superhero workplace comedy-drama is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch in two editions, published in partnership with PM Studios.

The Standard Deluxe Edition runs $50 and packs in the full game on disc or cartridge, all DLC, a 100-plus-page digital artbook, four digital comics, a 16-page printed SDN Guide to Dispatching booklet, a double-sided Mecha Man poster, and a digital download code for the soundtrack. Step up to the $60 Steelbook Deluxe Edition and you get everything above plus a steelbook case with box art designed in-house at AdHoc — though AdHoc warns the steelbook may ship later due to manufacturing lead times. Both editions will be available at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Walmart, and other major retailers. The Nintendo Switch copy is the Switch 1 version but includes the Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack; AdHoc also notes some content was censored to meet Nintendo's standards, though the studio found some creative workarounds.

Dispatch launched last year to strong critical and commercial reception despite being largely overlooked during awards season. The game follows Robert Robertson III — formerly the superhero Mecha Man — who takes a desk job at the local Superhero Dispatch Network after his mech suit is destroyed, managing a team of reformed supervillains. It's a narrative-heavy adventure with a sharp comedic tone, and a sequel is reportedly already in development.

The soundtrack is also getting a standalone vinyl release through Lost in Cult Records. Composers Andrew Arcadi and Skyler Barto's original score, alongside licensed tracks, will be pressed across three records in two editions: the Prime Edition on classic black vinyl, and the Astral Edition with each record pressed in a character-themed color — Mecha Man blue, Invisigal translucent purple, and Blonde Blazer's red-and-yellow. The first 500 Astral sets ordered through Lost in Cult's website ship with a certificate of authenticity signed by Arcadi. Fans who want both the Standard Deluxe Edition and a vinyl set can bundle them together for a 10% discount.
