The full June schedule breaks down like this: entry June 1–5, results June 5–9, entry June 9–14, results June 14–18, entry June 18–23, results June 23–27 — all periods ending at 7:59am PDT. To find available plots, PaissaDB is the go-to tool: it pulls crowdsourced data and lets you filter by server, housing district, and house size, and also shows whether a plot is open to Free Companies or individuals, how many people have already entered, and the asking price. You can only enter one lottery per cycle, so pick carefully. To place a bid, head to the main aetheryte in your chosen district — Gridania, Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah, Kugane, or Foundation — find the right ward and plot, click the placard, choose personal or Free Company purchase, and pay the gil upfront. You'll get a number, and then you wait.

Once the results period starts, go back to the same placard and check the winning number. If you've lost track of which plot you entered, find it under Duty > Timers > Estate > Housing Lottery Status. Win, and you need to finalise the purchase within the four-day results window — miss it and you forfeit the plot plus 50% of your entry gil. Lose, and your full entry gil is refunded, though you have 90 days to collect it from the placard before it's gone.

Demand still far outstrips supply, so don't be surprised if it takes multiple cycles to land a plot. The old system — clicking a placard for hours hoping an invisible timer would expire in your favour — is long gone, but patience is still very much required.
