Mouse: P.I. For Hire gets its first Switch 2 patch, bigger optimisation update incoming

Fumi and PlaySide have dropped the very first patch for Mouse: P.I. For Hire on Switch 2, and they've already announced a second, larger update is on the way.

That follow-up patch will bring quality-of-life improvements, more bug fixes, and — the studio's word — "importantly", performance and optimisation improvements specifically for Nintendo's new hybrid hardware. More details are coming in the next few weeks.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire — the noir cartoon detective FPS — was one of April's standout releases. Switch 2 players now have a clearer path to a smoother experience as the team works through its post-launch support.
