The $650 LEGO Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise Set Is Now on Amazon

The flagship LEGO Pokémon set — the $650 Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise — has moved beyond its LEGO Store exclusive status and is now available for preorder on Amazon.

The set features fully posable, beautifully detailed versions of all three Kanto starter evolutions, each placed in its own themed biome. Those biomes can be connected into one large display or kept separate as individual pieces. IGN built the set and called it worth the steep price — intricate, ambitious, and a genuine showpiece for adult Pokémon fans. The rest of the LEGO Pokémon lineup is also worth a look: the $200 Pikachu and Poké Ball and the $60 Eevee are both strong display sets at more accessible price points.

LEGO launched its official Pokémon collaboration earlier this year, and the Kanto starters set was the crown jewel from the start — the kind of collector-tier product that rarely leaves its exclusive retail channel. Its arrival on Amazon opens it up to a much wider audience without requiring a trip to a dedicated LEGO Store.

For younger fans less interested in display pieces, LEGO is also launching a line of Smart Play Pokémon sets on August 1, aimed at kids who actually want to build and play rather than shelf-display.
