Datamining on the Epic Games Store has turned up a stack of post-launch content listings for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation — the third and final entry in Square Enix's FF7 remake trilogy — including nine individual DLC packs and a dedicated Story Expansion Pass. The discovery was made via EpicDB, a third-party tool that tracks Epic Games Store content, and quickly spread across the FF7 community.

Beyond the DLC listings, the store page also references a Premium Edition, a Premium Plus Edition, and pre-order bonuses — all fairly standard for a major Square Enix release. What has fans genuinely excited is the Story Expansion Pass, which implies substantial post-launch narrative content rather than the cosmetic drops and summon packs that Remake and Rebirth received. Game director Naoki Hamaguchi previously told Famitsu — translated by Genki — that story expansions for Revelation are possible if fan demand is strong enough. Given the community's reaction to these listings, that demand is clearly not in question.

The context here matters. Final Fantasy 7 Remake got meaningful story DLC in the form of Episode Intermission, which followed Yuffie and was later bundled into the Intergrade version of the base game. Rebirth skipped that model entirely — Hamaguchi said in 2024 that the team needed to stay focused on finishing the trilogy. Now that Revelation is the conclusion, the door is open again. Revelation is targeting a Spring 2027 release window.
