July 2026 game releases: Palworld 1.0, AC Black Flag Resynced, and Halo Campaign Evolved headline a quieter month

July 2026 is a lighter month for big releases, but it's far from empty. Palworld hits 1.0 on July 10, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launches July 9, and Halo: Campaign Evolved rounds out the month on July 28 — two major remakes bookending a full-release milestone for one of early access's biggest survival games.

Palworld 1.0 arrives on July 10 via Steam and Game Pass, bringing new story content, wing packs, and new Pals to catch alongside a hefty set of patch notes. AC Black Flag Resynced, priced at $59.99 (Deluxe at $69.99), is optimized for Xbox Series X|S and described as a faithful enhancement of Edward Kenway's pirate adventure — new visuals, quality-of-life tweaks, and bonus content included. Deluxe Edition buyers of EA Sports College Football 27 get early access on July 6, with the standard release on July 9 at $69.99; the game adds Dynasty Blueprint, deeper Road to Glory customization, and Mascot Mashup. Halo: Campaign Evolved on July 28 is a full remake of the original campaign, not just an HD texture pass, and adds extra missions. Also landing this week: Wuthering Waves and Winds of Arcana: Ruination both hit Game Pass on July 10 and July 6 respectively.

The co-op horror indie scene fills out the rest of the month.
