Resident Evil Requiem drops to $56 at Best Buy for the 4th of July sale

Best Buy's 4th of July Sale has brought Resident Evil Requiem back down to its Prime Day price — $56 on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch 2. That's $14 off the standard retail price, and the deal likely won't stick around long.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X copies match what Amazon offered during Prime Day. The Switch 2 version sits a touch higher than Amazon's Prime Day price of $53.19, but it's close enough to be worth it. IGN reviewer Tristan Ogilvie called the game completely absorbing from start to finish, saying it kept him entertained "whether it was all hair-raising or all guns blazing" right up to its "titan-sized takedown" finale.

Resident Evil Requiem is one of the newer entries in Capcom's long-running survival horror series, and it's been landing well with both longtime fans and horror newcomers. Strong characters, consistent scares, and a gripping pace have made it a standout release this year.
